Born in Romania in 1980, Alex has expressed himself through art from his early years, ultimately passing with honors the admission to Dimitrie Cuclin Fine Arts School, where he concentrated on the technical side of drawing and painting.

Through his detailed and distinctive artwork he achieved renown in Romania, being a prize winner of the Annual National Graphic Exhibition at the age of 14.

Following graduation, Alex took up a post teaching Fine Arts in his country and became involved in many art projects developed in Italy. He has also been part of several exhibitions in Romania as well as Britain.
The diverse influences absorbed during his time in Romania, Italy and Britain helped him develop his mainly monochromatic work into an exciting and contemporary style.

Through his art, he reveals the variety and beauty of the human form. His drawings are intimate without ever being intrusive or shocking; they remain engaging, tender, and deeply sensual.
